Blue Ridge Candle Co. starts in Dana’s home kitchen in Asheville, North Carolina. Each small batch of soy candles takes its inspiration from the landscape nearby: cedar, woodsmoke, and wild mint. Dana dedicates 5–10 hours a week to the business.

What began with friends and family is finding its way into more homes, through an online following and the Saturday craft market. The idea remains simple: make something personal, inspired by a place worth sharing.
